On 3 May 2019, the Foundation bade a fond farewell to Grant Writer, Samantha Popejoy at the Quarterly Board meeting.  Beginning her work at the Museum as a Graduate Intern in Museum Science, Samantha quickly made herself at home getting to know the staff and the Museum.  Her bright personality, quick grasp, and innovative ideas were soon to have positive impacts across the Museum.  As her Internship came to a close, the Foundation employed her talents as Foundation Grant Writer for the Capital Campaign.  Within weeks she had results in the way of grants and other critical contacts across the philanthropic spectrum.  Samantha will be following personal goals as she relocates to Tennessee.  We wish her the best!
